pixel_player64701463 '463! Chromebook buds! Yay! I'm pretty good thanks, very kind of you to ask. Hope you're good too.
Odd if you're playing the same instance of the game (if that's the case, perhaps you might confirm?) on two different devices on the same network you have this problem on one, but not the other. Hrm. So it can't be the network per se. My current guesses are:-
- Your network settings on your CB might be different from on your phone. e.g. a proxy, a VPN, another application that messes around with such things. Check your network settings and make sure you see: or similar. Assuming your local setup permits that.
- Your CB installation might still be corrupted. Try these things in escalating order:
- Quit, delete local app data, then reload.
- Reinstall completely.
- This last step is Chromebook-specific. Do not do this unless you've made sure your account is connected to an email address or social media account. Also beware it'll affect every other Android-type app too. Go to settings, and Apps. Then remove them entirely.
As this says, it'll completely remove every Google App from your device. Then turn it back on again, reinstall TS2, and restart. You'll now be in a level 1 instance. It'll even make you play through the tutorial again. But once you have, you can go to 'connect account' again and connect it back to your original game instance througj the same email/media account.
Caveat lector on all of these. Might all go horribly wrong! And feel free to contact support by filing a ticket, and see if you get a more sensible or definitive answer out of 'em...
