bleh...i'd be a happy camper if the game didn't crash every couple of hours...you might just notice that my spending has dropped drastically as a result
so...as i read this...players have to pay money to get a station extension allowing them to buy one type of 2 slot engines.
so they are out money and don't even have a better train to show for it
then they have so buy again and again and again and again so that they can then buy an engine of each type (stm/ele/diesel/ML/HL).
this only exacerbates the hyper inflation that has been going on in the game for a long time.
i've seen the rate at which seaport serves up offers at least twice a week pitching the 2-3-4 slot ships. i very much doubt that 3 and 4 slot engines will not be far behind...players with 170 or 180 train slots will still be click monkeys unless they script the game.
i have 323 local and intl train slots...do you seriously believe that i am going to upgrade all those trains to 2-slot engines at 685 gems a pop. That's 161 trains times 685 gems... in slovakian, that's 110 285 gems. plus the fees paid just for the privilege of buying all those engines. the chance of that happening is zero.
as yaris has already proven...the game is all about the money...the wonderful competitive aspect of the game has been gone for a year
