Was playing normally and pressed Update friends.
On restart all friends have disappeared.
Checking the Friends list shows Mr. Bill only.
All my international trains were ready to be resent to friends and contracts.
None of the Resend buttons were available on the trains that had previously been sent to selected friends.
This has happened several times over many months.
An email to support has been required to resolve the issue on each occasion.
Only the last three occurrences were documented and can be dated as 30Apr2021, 12Jun2021 and yesterday 31Aug2021.

The 'Refresh Friends' button in game was supposed to do what the internal reset by support does. It was designed to stop quite a lot of support requests for that exact thing. In your case it obviously doesn't work quite properly.
Has this happened to anyone else?
