For those of us who think that the Giovanni contracts are inane waste of time; what should we think of this Museum challenge that has no reward big reward at the end?
The beauty of this game is, it doesn't matter at all what others think of the challenge.
It's entirely up to you whether you're putting in any effort in this challenge or not. Your museum level has zero influence on any contract or achievement. If you want to seek out people and exchange rare locomotives, go ahead, and do it. If you want to ignore the challenge, and just take whatever rolls in your station, go ahead, and do it. It's all fine. It's entirely up to you one how to deal with the challenge, and the game doesn't penalize you one way or the other.
I'm not putting much effort into the museum challenge. Early on, I bought/sold any non-gem locomotives I had not collected yet, as this was easy and gave me a use for the billions of gold I've collected. For the rest, I just see what rolls into the station on express trains, and if I get a reward because I'm reaching a new level, I'm happy with the gift, and that's about it.
