I recently came back to the game after a couple year vacation.

Been reading all the drama back in April about expeditions but have not seen any major threads since then.

Question 1:
I have been doing the job board and getting the green bucks.
Will they roll over to the next expedition or will I have to convert the unused ones in the market after it's over?

Question 2:
I saw I have 88 of the gold looking bucks...
Were those from last month's expedition? It took me at least a week to figure out how it all worked so maybe I played a little from the last one.

Question 3:
Do I basically need to complete the entire map (All land, all chests etc) to complete Stage 1?
Or can you complete a stage with most of it done?

Question 4:
Dare I dare to ask given some of the previous discussions... Given the current state of expeditions, is the reward worth it? I see I do get lot of chevrons by working the job board which are needed to upgrade Level 6-7 ships. Just never did the math.
