Requirements📑	At least level Level 20 and prepare your sailors because you will need them to explore each outpost

The number of sailors required is adjusted for your level.
It makes it no easier for higher level players.
Each balloon destination for me requires 10,460
It can be done.

It's especially doable as we have 6 more days to do it. That works out to just 1 or 2 a day. Once the treasure chest is uncovered, it can be fetched with any ship.

I was a high level player, updated my I pad and lost my game. I have been playing game for a number of years, and sad to have to begin again, but I now remember how hard it was to build up assets. You should let up a little on new players, maybe a superior treasure with 200000 as a super gift. I am sure you loose some players because of this.

Read FB comments and see just how xxxxx these 3 new vessel's are. No thought for high level existing players. 7 slots must be minimum off 28k otherwise what is the point of them????

They have been doing this regularly. At least they give us advance warning and a few weeks to make these exchanges ourselves. I play other games where event materials are automatically exchanged for coins as soon as the event ends.

I think it's a sensible balance between keeping the software tidy and commodities current vs still giving players some flexibility. Personally, I usually get rid of the obsolete items over several days doing the daily Market Town tasks.

My only criticism of this system would be that they should first exchange anything convertible to gems, then everything else to coins.

Don't bother doing the treasure chest hunt bog all!! Sailors Iron and fish, no gems nothing. Thought treasure hunt was about finding gems. [MODERATED]

Hey all. Now let’s be nice and stop the name calling and swearing. There is a way to get the point across without it getting to this level. I am not happy about all the repeating events either but at least I am having fun with 7 slots. And PF is getting creative with new ships.

Tigger1987 Not really the new ships are pointless they offer no return for the number of slots they use. Only decent 7 slot vessels over 30k cost a lot of gems with no other option. The three this week are just poorly thought off.

It is terrible you can't find enough gems to buy a new boat that require gems. I am so disappointed in the game starting now that I can't get new ships fast enough because gems are so hard to find and that was not that hard years ago when I first started this game. I rather have Cafe land back if you can't put back the gems in the treasure chest only ranging from 1 to 1000 randomly but that is not the way you are going to do it. This should be fair to all level players. Your seaport has become a money grab like Cafe World and Cafe land. Let's play fair Seaport.

I miss Café World so much. I was so sad when they removed it from Facebook. You are right though it did become a bit of a money grab but I also had enough friends playing that I had no problems keeping up with only spending $10 a month.

Funny, but I've been thinking the opposite. I've been earning enough gems in each event to buy one of the 1500 gem ship offers. I bought one near the beginning of this event for 1500 gems which left me with under 200 but I am now up to 1959. Some of those did come with a $US 9.99 ship purchase, but I think it was only 360.

Yes, I watch ads when 5 gems or more could be doubled, including the achievement rewards. Yes, I join every trophy competition even if I don't plan to make much effort. Usually I get at least 5 gems. Depending on the tasks, I can get 25 even without finishing near the top. I finish all the daily challenges (60 gems/mo or 120 with ads). I work the quests which also give 2 or 5 gems. Plus in this event we had contractors awarding quite a lot of doubloons, which exchange for gems.

And that hasn't even touched on the Global challenges we get in a lot of events.

One note, I pretty much never use gems for anything other than buying or (rarely) leveling up a ship.

We were talking about how many gems this game lets us earn for free. What we do with them is a separate question.

I've been able to get some 7 slot ships that give the highest cargo per slot of any ships I have, so I don't think they are pointless.

I said 60 - 120 per month. That's the same 2-4 per day if we play every day.

98% new ones are xxxx, this month 5 slots 4211, 6 slots 10150, 7 slots 18265. xxxx returns for the number of slots used. All they done is replaced the old 6slots with 7, 5 with 6 etc.

Yes, they keep offering new ships with fewer slots at ridiculously low cargo per slot numbers. I keep wondering if hiding this number was the reason they got rid of this very useful cargo per slot ship sort. We certainly need it in the all ships list where we browse to do our shopping, along with the anchor filter.

I haven't done this with Riviera but I have with the 8 hour fish port just to the right of it. Yes, the 8 hour ports should all be much farther from our home port than the 1 hour ports. Otherwise, why does it take so long to get there? I realize games like this need to sometimes take liberties with logic, but there's no excuse for doing it when it is easily avoided.

I just got 10 gems from a treasure chest. (That's 20 after I learned to be a Warrior watching an ad for a naval air combat game.) I'm not sure if it was from the Treasure hunt or one of the regular chests up near our home port.
