Lucia_Pixel Yes there were changes in the number of slots for merchant ship offers...you now have a situation where new players are being offered different Merchant Ships than older players were at the same level.
To give you just one example of many: the ship "MV Cape York" which is offered as a Merchant Ship at Level 435 used to be a 3 Slot/Anchor ship, and is now a 5 Slot/Anchor ship. It seems arbitrary and generally odd, but it is just a game after all and most people probably don't care that much. The result will simply be that people who have been playing for a long time will simply stop, give up, and move on to other things. That already seems to be the case judging by how empty the forums have become in recent months.
As another user pointed out: Gems were spent on merchant ships, and now newer players are going to be offered better/different options than players were 6 months or a year ago when they were reached that level. The constant changes reinforce the warning for many: don't spend real money on games like these because the developers constantly change things, and what you pay for today may not be there tomorrow.
