I have over 1.000.000.000 Materials an i can't read the first number. Is it zero or is it 1. Please make the GUI better readable an fix this.
It is old known issue. Nobody cares from PF. It is easy to setup Z-order for object of material to be behind of numbers. I am wondering why it is take so long developers.
Netzratte Hello, as @chodec has said, this issue has been commented on before, and is unfortunate for those of us that have amassed lots of materials.
As I’m sure you probably know, the simple work around to check how much materials you have, is to open the ships tab.
Podifer OK, How do you see your total materials by opening up the ships window?? What am I missing?
I also have trouble reading the quantity en route in the warehouse display for the diving mask. It overlaps the 10,000th digit.
I haven't noticed this issue before with other commodities.
BostonJohn When I click on the Ships tab I can see this along the top:
I play via the iOS app, but I know the same thing happens in the Android app. I think it’s the same sort of interface if you play via PC, but I don’t have my laptop to hand to check.
I'm afraid it doesn't work like that on a PC. I can't find a way to accurately read my full stock levels. 🙁
in my game (iPad iOS), that Information runs across the top of the screen in both the Home Port and map view. It's there all the time. I also see it in the ships interface when I open the Ships, Event, or New tab (fish, logs, stone, steel, coins, gems).
MazdaMan I'm afraid it doesn't work like that on a PC.
Ah... that explains it, and that’s not good 😕
What happens when you select a ship as if you were going to upgrade it? Does the game still keep you in the dark as to your materials count?
Podifer What happens when you select a ship as if you were going to upgrade it?
Nothing changes. You can see from the following there is nothing informing you of your current stock.
I could only do this with Selandia as it's the only ship that I have that is not fully upgraded (and never will be 🤣🤣)
MazdaMan I see.. that really isn’t good. At least wit the apps there’s an easy work around for the poor implementation of the GUI. PC players always seem to get the thin end of the wedge ☹️
Yep. You're right there. 😒
pixel_player979355845 It's there all the time
Yes, it’s there all the time for me too 🙂.
The OP was making the point that if you have a lot of materials (and you can see from above how many billions of stuff I’ve got), then on the home or map view the material icon covers the first digit or 2 of the amount making it impossible to see exactly what you have. Opening one of the tabs is the only way to resolve this - but unfortunately as @MazdaMan demonstrated that workaround doesn’t apply for PC players.
