Producing overnight to maintain larger product inventories isn’t really an option for a lot of players who don’t have much surplus warehouse space. It means that we need to make a lot of items for the job board as the orders appear.
Also, the game has gotten completely terrible about using all 4 of the mills at anything like an even pace. just now, after filling the previous orders, all but one of the new ones asked for jam, cereal, or candy. Meanwhile, it asked for nothing from the cake/wine factory, nor coats, but one order did need more lumber. The other order was a two point order for wheat.
personally, I don’t like the last set of changes to the orders. I imagine they increased the number of orders asking for only ship cargo items to address complaints about the job board taking too much focus off of ships. But honestly, I hate those orders. They ask for a large quantity and give very small points. I’m deleting a lot of them.
I also don’t understand why the doubled the wheat cost of a loaf of bread. This happened when they took wood out. It means finding space for twice as much wheat while returns on bead orders are pretty small, especially compared to the return for candy and other items we could be making there. I usually deleting any orders that include bread now.
