If you have any exploration spots that don’t have countdown timers on (those are event related), send a ship to uncover them, and Small Town will turn up somewhere.

RedSkyNight This image was posted by another player outside of this forum - PF in their wisdom have moved many of the locations around for newer players. Small Town where Coastline was, Grove instead of Small Town and Rubble where Gulf should be, and so on.

As far as I’m aware, I believe they’ve also ‘rebalanced’ the location levels and multiplication/maxed out destination values for newer players, so it no longer matches the numbers listed on the help site.

So effectively, there two different systems in place. Whether PF intend to move all the locations around for the rest of us, or ‘rebalance’ our destination values I don’t know. But I think if and when that happens, I might consider resigning as moderator, because the forum will probably implode...

EDIT - Any player with the ‘new’ locations able to post a screenshot(s) of their map? It would be useful to be able to have an up to date image to reproduce in posts when helping players.

Not only this. The material destinations need rebalancing to the newly added game levels and higher game demands for months. PF completely failed to do this for months, but now they even need to do it twice since the changed Small Town for new players also has different levels and multipliers than the old one. Geniuses at work. 🤦‍♂️

It get's even better, a couple of weeks ago I started a new "game" and then Uncle Seaport appeared started to explain the game to me and said something like "I had some financial difficulties lately and therefore I am not allowed to run a business so you have to do it for me". My first reaction 😳, second reaction 🤦🤣🤣.
I am only at level 12 with this new account, as soon as my screen shot looks different than the one shown above I will post it.

Well we have had to wait long enough for the Tavern to get a facelift. And Lo and Behold today we have a new looking Tavern. We shouldn't be too demeaning though. After all it's only taken them a year to sort it out.

MazdaMan https://seaport.dynortice.com/building/6/ Like for the other buildings which can not be upgraded normally (workshop, yard, supermarket and food mill) the tavern was probably planned to do the same as those other buildings, getting a new graphical skin identical to the actual town hall skin automatically, since as the link prooves, those graphics for the tavern have been existing for years already. But for some reasons, PF decided to never change the tavern despite having it prepared for this.

Now it was obviously finally changed. The tavern graphic is still behind, but it switches one step ahead in the row of graphics with every town hall upgrade finished. Mine is still in the copper roof era of buildings, but moving ahead like linked above. I am not sure if I like it, since I became familar with the old shaby hut. The glass roof and art deco taverns will surely not look like a wicked sailor pub in a dirty port area.

I've gone past the Art Deco look, but the Dynortice site doesn't list my current design. I still think (as you say)
that the Tavern is behind the rest of the town. But I suppose it's getting there 🙂

MazdaMan It's listed as "Level 6" here: https://seaport.dynortice.com/building/6/ It's the same building skin I have and what I would call green copper roof. 😉
