I finished the jobs Wednesday evening, and continued a whole day today to obtain some bucks. The amount of material used to produce few bucks is close to 50x higher than what you get selling the content of the obtained chests. (similar situation with previous event material - there it was bad but not so bad - and corrected later)
The mathematics behind this "interplay" really sucks.
Also in the jobs are some tasks which are completely crazy - extra special are the ones asking the COGs - COGs are produced by 80/hour and if the job wants 1760 COGs ?!?!?! It is close to 5 milion fish and 1 mil IRON and full 22 hours of non stop production on the end for 56 bucks which is less than 1 pickaxe, where you get + - 1200 some commodity item to sell for 70 000 fish i.e. WELL over two, close to three orders of magnitude mistake ?!?!?!
Otherwise I would consider it quite a fun short event provided that instead of getting 5 fuels or 1 pick we would get 75 or 15 to play few minutes not seconds and we can than wait. Also the way it is made means that we must check the store at least every hour, not fun at all.
Also it would be nice to publish how all the counters in the game work. They did behave not consistently - or it was impossible to understand how they do behave and it made the feel of generally unwanted (as you well know - we take part since there is nothing else to do, but.....) PvP event even less desirable and interesting - just frustrating.
As was mentioned many times before, the current team has a problem with checking out their math, math used to be the strong thing in the game over a year back - it changed. There is a feeling that those guys today do not know how to use Excel or similar tool. Martin I do know you were there all the time, you might try to explain what did happened ?
