I’ve put together the following quick guide on how to get the new commodity LPG, in an attempt to head off multiple threads on the same subject.
LPG was introduced into the Seaport game in March 2020, together with the arrival of Modern Ships which occupy 4-slots of dock space.
You can obtain LPG from the new Refinery location - it’s pretty hard to miss and can be found on the map next to ‘Cave’.
To obtain LPG you need to be Level 260 or higher and use a 4 slot ship, as indicated by the little ‘4’ on the location graphic.
As I write, the availability of 4 slot ships is very limited, both in number and carrying capacity - only 8 have so far been introduced (not including the ship merchant or package offers). A similar situation occurred when the cement location and 3 slot ships were first introduced into the game. I’m sure the choice of available ships will expand over the coming weeks/events.
So, once you’ve hold of a 4 slot ship with materials or gems - how do you get the LPG to appear in your warehouses?
You will be asked to deliver a random resource (in this case wood), in exchange for the LPG. NOTE the amount of resource you are asked to deliver and the quantity of LPG received depends on your game level
The new location works like a contractor - you may have to make several trips to fulfil its requirement. In the example above I would have to make 15 trips with the current highest 4 slot ship available (American Mariner) to complete the task. This can, of course be improved a little with the addition of a Captain.
I would expect (hope), that once the initial difficulty in getting LPG has passed, most players would be able to keep some stocked in their warehouses to cover the next TH upgrade.
NOTE - there is no running tally of the amount you have delivered, the required amount displayed reduces with each consignment. Once you have delivered your final shipment you are ‘rewarded’ with the LPG which then appears in your warehouse (even if it’s full and overflowing)
Hope this helps 🙂
