Market Town: How to get started

Hi!

I'm lvl 26 with townhall lvl 4. In my current task list, I've got to complete 2 trades at Market Town.

When do you actually start to be able to use the Market? Where do you get items to trade in the Market?

pixel_player95388800 The Market Town is one of the destination where you send your ships. Look to the right of the main dock on the map.

Any product you have in your warehouse can be exchange for something else in the Market Town. You send your ship to collect products that are stored in your warehouse, then you send ships to the Market Town to do the exchange.

Every time you click on the little snowmen, you sometimes get mistletoe. This is another product going into your warehouse.

But how do I get items going into the warehouses? Do I need specific buildings? Do I get items from destinations?

As early as the Market became available to me, I thought I'd be able to start using it, but no such luck.

pixel_player95388800 Mostly from destinations. Visit the Town Market and look at the products there. These are those available to you. You see the quantity you have too. Next, visit the different destinations to find which give you the product you would like to trade in the Market. Once identified, send your ship(s) to that destination.

You likely haven't finished one of the permanent contractors yet. When you finish Christopher Columbus, his location will change into the cocoa destination. Then, you'll be able to pick up cocoa and then deliver it to the market. There are two other contractors that unlock cloth and grapes. there are also temporary locations with each event. the Christmas event has 3 locations where you can pick up candy canes, teddy bears and scarves. these all sell for various resources at the market.
