A Fishy Situation
. There appears to be a general consensus in this thread held by a few players, and possibly a multitude of others who have not posted. One player summed up this consensus best when he replied to me.....
. . If we would get unlimited supply of fish, indeed getting the highest return in wood, no matter how much fish it costs. But my fish is often running low, so yeah, I like to get the most out of the fish I can collect and that is by getting the most wood out of every 1 fish. . .
If you omit one factor, then I would agree with his statement a 100%. Yes, my fish supply runs short as well. The factor that would need to be omitted for me to agree with this statement above, is the factor of time.
Using the resources available to me, how much wood, or even fish can I acquire in the shortest amount of time, both now and in the future?? This is what is important to me.
He started off by saying, "If we would get unlimited supply of fish..." My response to that is "Uncle Seaport, aka Pixel Federation has granted you your wish as part of this birthday event." All you have to do, is collect the fish.
That is why i am on a frenzy to upgrade my sawmills, foundry, & quarry to max capacity Now, while the fish are so plentiful. So in the Future I can acquire other resources more quickly.
At least for me, TIME is a key factor.
