Ship Upgrades 101 for Port Managers

Imagine you come to your dock and you see your one and only love Great Eastern. Well we believe that it is time for an UPGRADE!
Do not worry if you are still confused our dear Port Managers as we are leaving our 101 lega-sea about the upgrades here!

• 🔰 WHAT IS IT?

In simple terms, upgrade is an in-game function that upgrades (No ship Sherlock) the power of your most used and favorite ships in your dock- this upgrade costs you coins and ship parts.

• 🗺️ WHERE CAN YOU FIND IT?

You can upgrade ships in your DOCK on the left side of your screen under the giant cargo ship which is ferry convenient!

•❔WHY WOULD YOU DO IT?

Well Port Managers, that is an excellent question! Upgrading ship is the only way how to upgrade the Power of your fleet. The power allows you to carry more materials to your factories and jobs to finish the tasks faster and more effectively!

• HOW YOU DO IT?

After you sea a ship you like you can tap on her for further information to sea, how much of the ship parts will be required for the upgrade. With each upgrade you increase the Power of the ship which allows your ship to carry more materials to your jobs.

• THE POWER OF THE SHIPS

By upgrading the ships we upgrade their power- which permanently allows us to carry more materials on our ships to deliver to our Port or to the tasks. We can see the amount of the power on the top right corner of the ship.

After you tap on your ship you will sea a whole new word🧜‍♀️, we mean menu consisting of:

It is always beneficial for all of the Port Managers to have your ships upgraded as much, as your resources allow you to. After all it is huge pain it he the boat to exchange only 6 materials on your rare ship on your hour long journey when the same max upgraded ship can carry 30! 💡

The best part (right after maxed power of the ship) about fully upgrading your ship is that the icon of the ship changes- three lights of spotlight show just how special this ship is! Show some love to your favorite boat!

Minimum and Maximum Power

Want to sea how much materials can your ship carry in total to your factories and jobs? Well look no further! As the event ships are special celebrations of a big events, they have a quite considerable boost in the power in comparison to regional!

You might be wondering, but how we know when your ship is ready for an upgrade? Well you can search for the green arrow up- in our game they always symbolize the upgrade or enhance of ships or other items. This arrow becomes viseable when you own all of the coins and ship parts required for the upgrade.

• ✖️ WHEN YOU CAN'T UPGRADE A SHIP?

🔩 Not Enough Resources

It looks like your Ship is out of luck and resources as you do not have enough for an upgrade! You can find out how to earn more Ship Parts in an article HERE.

🔩 Ship Not Found Yet

You really thought we would believe you wanted to upgrade a ship you do not own yet Port Managers? Right?

🔩 Maxed Out Already

Uh Oh, it seems you have already reached out the maximum upgrade level of the ship that you somehow you wish to upgrade some more! Maybe you should try investing your resources in another ship?

• AMOUNT OF RESOURCES NECESSARY

As we have already mentioned, the upgrade of your ships ain't free- you need to supply your workers with Ship parts they can use on your ship and of course you have to pay them for their work! In general to upgrade ships you will need:

coins
common ship parts
for rare, epic and legendary ships as well a specific rarity of the ship parts corresponding with the rarity you are upgrading

❕Please note that to be able to upgrade Rare, Epic and Legendary ships you will need Common parts plus the❕ ❕parts of the same rarity as the ship and coins. Ferry simple, right?❕
