Hi, I have noticed the use of coins without making purchases in the game. because from 30,000 coins they have been reduced to 25,000.

I have been playing the game for a couple of weeks and am building a large stock of coins c. 20000
However there appear to be limited things that one can use them for.
Am I missing something?

coins are one of the main materials that you will need on your journey. They are important in upgrading ships! Together with the ship parts, you can use them in order to build your fleet. A strong fleet, fully upgraded, is important in the competitions and in the story or event jobs. I would suggest you check THESE articles from the Game mechanics in order to learn more about game features or basic mechanics.
