I am a proper player of diggi adventure but today i am uninstalling the game from my device with heavy heart due to much more energy requirement for digging which is totally shit.

I'm into this game for over $400 (Minimum), I'm not having fun anymore cause it's now "All about money".
Just hit my first 15,000 point BOX. For what ? What did I get ? not much. Like I said, it's all about the money.
Cant wait for the alternative routes.

Don't get me wrong, I've enjoyed the game immensely, but I've very quickly learned, there is NO point where you don't have to pay Mo' Money just to play. Thats obvious. But I'm done shoveling money into the never ending hole... aside from the fact I have to deal with advertising on top of it.

The best way for me is my way: Don’t pay for anything.

I build up my camp, as soon as events are available prioritize events before main story.
Event equipment is better.

Stay in Egypt long enough that your camp gets really strong (with event equipment) and enjoy cheap tile costs. Strengthen the camp further with 100 gem shop events. You get the gems with achievements. Play detective 2, excalibur and snow white in between the free events several times until you have all good equipment.

Use double material week for the green ring mines, use double production week for XP caravans.

I switched from clearing all to selective tiling in Scandinavia. Get to the best equipment (dragon eggs in China, hairlocks in Atlantis, shields in Greece). Leave the clearing for later, when you come back with a way stronger camp.

Am in the second half of Greece now, have never spent one cent with this account and my 40 min fast recharge is 32,000 per hour. So I have the 15,000 within 30 minutes.

I leave expensive tiles for first thing in the morning, that is around 160,000 energy with 9 hours.

Playing for two years in summer.

Edit: Oh, and I use the wiki to find the cheapest path through locations. End edit.

What did you spend money on? Never buy food. I don’t buy equipment, because then you have to keep on buying, as the non-pay-equipment is less attractive. But you can still quit buying any time. What is it, that makes it so „obvious“ to you, that one should spend money? Example, please.

The only purchases I have made is to buy the "Special Packs", more for the upgrade of equipment for faster build of energy (I'm up to 13,000 per hour on day) and storage for night (55,000 overnight). But it seems no matter how often I upgrade the equipment, the blasted boxes double in points and much more lately (I'm on level 128). I've completed fully every level up to 128.

Will give your advice a shot, but it would be nice for the programmers to cut us a bit of slack sometimes, I mean, a 15,000 point tile ?

The recharge data seem okay with the level for me, maybe a bit low.

But if you encounter 15,000 tiles, are you maybe already in China? Early regioning up is the straightest way to desperation unfortunately, as the tile costs increase way more. Worst is Egypt to Scandinavia.

When I first started, that hit me completely by surprise.

I gave up and started a new account. Prepared that one really well and that is the one I‘m playing with now. (Stayed in Egypt for over level 200, but that is admittedly not quite so „normal“ 😄 I liked playing cheap Egypt cost events).

So, where are you in the game?

The problem is that once in a higher region, all new events will have the regional higher tile costs.

Please check the wiki, if event equipment from the shop stories that I mentioned would still be useful for you.

Or make a clean cut like I did. Use the knowledge that you gained so far to build up a really strong Egyptian Diggy and take it from there.

Don’t worry about „lost money“ as you will not spend anything on this new account. You can do that and still keep your current account. I play two as well, the second only sometimes.
Play with the „little one“ while waiting for your big one to recharge.

Okay. With this camp, I strongly advice to not proceed to China for quite some time.

Please check the shop events that I mentioned in the wiki for their equipment and energy requirement.

But your next event will be the birthday next week. You will have that with Scandinavian tile costs, so maybe leave the challenges or don’t clear them completely but only bee-line to the reward area (wiki will have the maps in a day usually.)
