You will see that some father mines only open after you have finished main/god mines.
Edit: It states in my link that you have to finish 13th dragon of metal mine to go on with father quests after Temple of Confucius, so continue with the dragons please.

Next Edit: Temple of Confucius should be no. 22.
You see in my link that you then also have to decipher journals to go on.
