Filters in the kitchen for Vintage Stories

A little help if you get stuck on your first quest in a Vintage Story:

The first quest of a Vintage Story is usually:

Visit repeatable mines
Collect some cooking ingredients
Make the event's recipe in the camp kitchen
Talk to Quest-giver in your camp

In order to be able to make the recipes for Vintage Stories in the kitchen, you need to select Egypt and Events symbols in filter menu.

On PC:

In the APP:
Select an empty pot and open the FILTER menu.

And might I add this (hopefully) helpful tip: after you cooked the food needed to open the next mine, start saving up the ingredients for Double Production Week. These old events give a lot of energy in a 5 minute recipe. So it’s worth to wait until you can double that.

And as there are several events worth repeating several times, you could save one of the prepared event food.

Saves you to make it each time you play the event again. So you don’t have to have a free kitchen for it or interrupt another recipe or wait until they are finished.

The event only checks if you have the prepared food, not if you actually prepare it in the kitchen.

That’s why I have one of each for xmas 2013 and 2014 and Wild West etc.

In my earlier days also the food for detective 2 and Excalibur…

So then, you start the event, clear the repeatable (s) and get the reward for the cooking and the next quest immediately.
