However, you don’t need a reset, it‘s just moving the stones, isn’t it?
As you can reverse them any time, you should get stuck in them.

I remember that in such situations, I pull all stones out of there, that are possible.
Pull the first ones down and out of the way. Reduce the number of stones in this way, by dragging them down and pushing them way to the bottom left or wherever they don’t block anything.
So, reduce the number of stone first, by that method. Then only move the fewer remaining ones out of the way.

When I did that location, I pulled stones down one after the other and parked them here
Then the rest is easy.
