pixel_player70196548 Right now it's still a relatively new feature, some bugs here and there too. In future, maybe they can do something, like team events.
As far as the materials are concerned, I wouldn't expect that to rise much. Teams will not be a primary source of getting materials. Keep whatever you are getting for free, anything is better than nothing.
