endless hourglass spinning,

I've recently picked this up again with my new phone and for the last month it's been fantastic but this new event seams to have caused some problems for mine? I'll try to go to camp, or go to a location and the game just spins an hourglass for eternity. i shut down my phone and turned it back on and that fixed it for about twelve minutes and then i tried to go to a repeatable and got the spinning hourglass again.

has anyone else had this problem and is there a way to fix it?

i'm on iPhone 11, and the game is on version 1.2.17 for details.

The current version is 1.5.563

You find it in your settings.

Please check the app store to see if there is an update for you.

Your numbers look more like a date to me… but then, I‘m in no way a tech expert. I know the version numbers, because we had many difficulties with the switch from .556 to .559, then 562 and finally .563, all since the middle of the Christmas event.

MadameCurie I have tried to find an update and it doesn't say anything about one. it just says 'play' when I look.

I was told however that we have bad weather just to the north of us that could be affecting internet things so maybe it's just a tower problem? I'll wait a few more days to see if anyone else has issues or if mine persists. it's working just fine on my computer, so I can play it on there if I get stuck on the loading screen again.

That’s a number like they use in our app. I don’t know if it is the exact number that we have.
Edit: version no. 1.2.17 that’s what shows in app. Same as hers. She should have the same update as us then . I went & looked.
