Just purchased the thanksgiving 2013 for 100 gems and will not let me play I played one level to collect pumpkins now it says to talk to a guy and I do and the games does nothing. Any ideas clues any thing would be helpful thank you

As you can see in the picture below, the quest [Mayflower Has Landed] has several tasks. You will only be able to continue the event once you have completed all of them.
In short: bake a pie from pumpkin in the kitchen and talk to Pilgrim Bartholomew in the camp.

pixel_player209330819 You have to make a pie as SkoRen told you to do and the event shows a pie 0/1. After you complete that you'll be able to move on.

CactusFlower there is literally no place to go to make a pie there is nothing open but what is in the pics.
EDIT:
In the kitchen select an empty pot then select the FILTER, then select this to activate event recipes.
Well that did it. I feel like an idiot now should have looked there but didn’t think about it. Thank you for the assistance.
