The reward doubling with ads is a pain in the bottom and an endless story on mobile.
There are several strategies that try to minimize the risk, but in the end, the best way in my view is the following:
You leave the last tiles in locations. After a while you use desktop mode or use a pc, then go to the pixel portal and log in your Diggy account there. Finish all last tiles on the pc version of the game. Never an ad problem, the doubling always works reliably and you don’t have to wait up to 30 seconds.
As the lucky card tent often enough also doesn’t work with the ad, I do that on the pc version now also. Never a problem there.
Pixel always repeats that it’s not their problem but the responsibility of a „third party“.
Anyway, it’s clearly connected with the mobile app and doesn’t happen on pc.
If I would like the design there better, I would switch completely. But I can’t stand it, so I play on mobile, but have adapted to the ad problems in the way I described above. Finally no more anxiety if it will double or not for big rewards.
