This is the worst thing I've seen done to diggy. Looks like it's tailored for 5 year olds. Please get rid of it and go back to the classic look. Or at least give me the option. I'm 65 years old and in the top 40 of global players and I don't mind spending money to keep the game alive, but can't leave this showing on my screen. It's embarrassing.

I've been playing this game multiple times a day for 2.5 years now.
There were minor annoyances, like the perpetual ad bug, but overall I enjoyed it.
But lately it seems that Pixel is trying to discourage its players. With success I might add.
Take the riged events like Chilli Out, the switch to Fandom and now this unnecessary and annoying new look. What are you trying to achieve, PixelFederation?

You're right about that BlameTheParrot. I find the PC version childish and just too clumsy to play. Doing this to the mobile version is sinful.

And I‘m not so completely confident that we will get a christmas wonder and all issues that we described in this thread are repared. But maybe some…

MadameCurie omg-just logged back on after reading all the complaints about the new format (which I totally agree with) ….. and it’s even WORSE!!! I’ve been loving diggy’s so much…I’m disappointed that they aren’t getting a clue!!

You are right. Most major updates that aren't events usually mess up some sort of changes like new sounds, new cartoony graphics, and the worst diggy's new look is annoying. But I don't send any hate to the developers for this.

The new art style does add a bit more parity with the WebGL version but it's also way more simple. I have also seen the game getting stuck on the loading screen and the new quests interface sucks. Also, the new art style in the app icon and loading screen looks terrifying.

I have the version .562 now. There shall be a .563 version available soon, I heard of one player who has it, but it‘s not for me in my apple app store yet.

The .562 is every bit as ugly and annoying as we had the former version. Slight change is, that in this story icon box now the remaining days are shown instead of the total time.

I‘m totally indifferent to that, as I tap on the maps once and have everything I need.

So while my eyes are still hurting and I don’t like the overkill design one bit, I had at least 4/4 ad doublings working. It’s only a start, but in the last days with the .559 not one worked.

I‘m trying with very little rewards only, for everything else I still switch to desktop mode.

Forget about it.

The 5th try revealed the same crap as before. The ad for doubling the 9,000 XP from clearing the 2020 xmas ring mine ran fine, as the ads almost always do. Ad working, then, at the end, a black screen that stayed. No timer, no nothing. After 2-3 minutes I gave up. Restart, and of course no doubling.

So it will be switching to desktop mode for doubling for eternity. Or quit, when I‘m sick enough of that stupid dance.

same as above and when I run out of energy started to eat the stuff from the inventory and The sale popup covered the full screen soo the energy change is not visible.

pixel_player65105843 I completely agree with all these issues….especially ones about things being visually difficult to read and the tile contents obscuring your view of game play—how about having them just fly UP and out of the way quickly! But my main issue is why did you move the EVENT PASS Icon to the lower right hand side of the screen?!? I am continually hitting that and getting bounced out of my game screen!!! UGH! Don’t put icons in the lower right hand side!!

Thanks for the feedback. I feared that they wouldn’t undo their „great“ „improvements“ any time soon. Still this feedback here is massive - in relation to forum activity. I hope that they will act at least a bit, with time.

In comparison to facebook, this forum is almost nonexistent at all…
Has anybody informations about feedback on facebook? I don’t do it.

I am just wondering why on earth Pixel throws this at us around Christmas? When people have a little more time to play, maybe even treat themselves on an event pass? At the same time support is on holidays. So, yes, if I were CEO and wanted to frustrate my customers as much as possible, this would be the exact time I'd released an obviously untested update, then lock the door and let some volunteers in the forum deal with all the anger and frustration about ugly visuals and lost energy. Because my team doesn't bother to interact with the players anyway. Well done, Pixel!

Gubbi I agree with everything you have said, the new graphics style looks very unprofessional and the new UI is much less intuitive then the old one. I should not have to click on an image to see what my task is. I hope they give an option to go back to the old one. I too would have deleted if I had just downloaded to use

MadameCurie Never in all my Diggy life had I such lagging as with this „design change .559-version“.

It’s as if this huge symbols that now fly with every tile are just too much for the game.
Sometimes you have to wait after every single tile until the dust of things blowing biger and bigger in your face, has settled. Then wait a second longer and only then tell Diggy where to go next. Otherwise the game will freeze for some seconds, then go on, with little interruptions.

I have that still, now with the follow-up .562 version.
Still think that it‘s this enlarged big stuff flying around. I hate to have that bombarding my eyes.
