MadameCurie Look, I spent money here. And what happened on the last update? a visual redesign that is actually downgrade the appearance of the game. Why changed it? The game simply looks like a toddlers game that mums put on ipad… are you gonna make it easier as to toddlers game? seriously I wanna feedback about it. I will wait to return to old look before quitting

Recurring severe lagging in the gameplay since the update. Like, after tapping 5 tiles you have to wait. If you tap on, the game freezes for a fraction, then goes on, freezes again etc.

Not always, but often. Never had that before.

Edit: Please re-downdate as quickly as possible!

Can android users check if the new-new update in the shop is an improvement?
I‘m checking the app store constantly to see if apple users will get this mess repaired quickly also…

MadameCurie EmilyDiggynson I think that if you can you should play it on PC or in desktop mode for now, at least until they fix it 🤞 I know it sucks, but might be better then all the errors, energy loss, etc.

Game went black in the middle of nothing unusual, without any cause that I could see.

Energy was collected by my camp over time, I removed some tiles with it and moved a head of a snow man. Black went the screen, no error notice. Had to start again.

Don‘t know if I lost energy, some was still there, could be correct or not, don’t know.

The game has many more difficulties after that update.

I’m not sure what this was supposed to help. The new special effects are clunky and ugly. They make it even harder to tell what you are getting from boxes with all of the icons bigger and on top of each other. Moving functional icons to different spots is unwanted and confusing to players who are used to where they were. Don’t fix something that isn’t broken.

I play Diggy on PC more often than I like. It’s also installed on hubby’s Android tablet, so I can use whatever version has a few bugs less.

Honestly, sometimes I think I should just quit. We deserve better than this. PF cares so little about their customers, and they love to throw such sh** at us and then leave for the weekend. By now I thoroughly regret I invested my hard earned money into buying an event pass. Won’t happen again any time soon.

NEWSFLASH. I am not 4 years old. Get rid of the cartoon font - it is hard to read.

The open quests tab is impossible to locate the element causing the "new quest" symbol, so I can't shut off the exclamation mark.

This needs to be fixed immediately or I will find another game to spend money on.

Guess what? I hit the last tile in a location by accident - of course I didn’t want to clear it on mobile and for sure I lost the doubling of course.

The thing is, although for most of the time I wish I could swipe that stupid big tile counter box away out of sight, you train to ignore it to concentrate on the game and the floor that you are working on.
You have to develop a blind spot (make that a blind acre) so that this thing doesn’t scream into your eyes all the time while moving through the location.

And in the end, it was blocked out so much by sheer will force, that it didn’t help at all.

The biggest of boxes could not warn me that I was, in quick succession, clearing all the last tiles.

So even in the one and only circumstance, it doesn’t help anything. It annoys so much that my brain tries to un-see it. Still sometimes my hand tries to swipe it away…

I am trying to figure out the business model here. Do parents of toddlers have money to spend on games like this? Or do they delete the game when the child is crying because she has no more energy to click a tile?

Are we in the forum a tiny minority of adults, but most of the millions of players are kids with fat bank accounts?

I don't know. Either we are out of luck. . . Or Pixel is trying to ruin a good thing.

The good news is I'll save $30 a month. Why buy an Event Pass when my camp is set up to play 1 or 2x per day? No more running in every hour or two. My game generates 228,000 energy in 9 hours. I might up that to 12 hour cycles.

I really do find the new graphics unattractive. The game is off-putting. I'm feeling a little unwell from all the bouncing moving junk.

This is not good, Pixel. The new design is making players feel ill, and we are players who SPEND MONEY.

Or we used to. If a game does not make me want to spend more time playing, but less, then I won't want to gain the benefits that come from spending money. Because, you see, if I'm playing less, I can do without the extras that come with an Event Pass. I can make do with what I get free. And I will look for a new game that isn't trying to make money by appealing to ignorance of toddlers.

Agree with all the negative comments. Looks like you dumbed down the graphics for little kids. Interface looks cluttered and not clean and polished as before. Please give us an option to revert to the old graphics.

Okay, then I will pester you with the screaming exclamation mark. Glowing and moving a bit, because it’s the most important thing. Tap me. TAP ME! TAP MEEEEE!

I tap it, to see how I can make it go away.

This tells me nothing. (I have 3 university degrees. Maybe you need 4.)

I tried with all 18 quests that I have open. I don’t play them. The exclamation mark came up while playing xmas 2020. But whatever I tap, the exclamation mark exclamates on.

It‘s a constant annoyance.

@AllMenAreIslands How did you get finally rid of it?

In the old days, you tapped on it, one quest opened, you closed it and gone was the scream mark.

I left the game and post here instead. Will put Diggy asleep early for today.

Edit: Murdered it with another restart. Because I only restarted 30 times today, always switching to desktop mode for ad related stuff.

MadameCurie Just ran into that. Wonderful! 2 of the stupid things. And I did the same as you with frigging exclamation point. Pixel is a true trial. The bold white print hurts my eyes. Glares Am not a happy camper. 😎solution for glare?

Edit: You were also right about that tile counter! Could it be more intrusive!?

Edit: And those 2 stupid? boards, they are as big as billboards! Is it really,really necessary?

MadameCurie omg-just logged back on after reading all the complaints about the new format (which I totally agree with) ….. and it’s even WORSE!!! I’ve been loving diggy’s so much…I’m disappointed that they aren’t getting a clue!!
