I feel you! When I moved from Scandi to China it felt like I had entered a never ending challenge mine. And for a few days all the fun was gone (oh! accidental poetry). I even considered quitting Diggy, as I was able to play for only a few minutes each time I opened the game. That didn’t feel like a fun challenge I want to take on, but more like a tedious tasks. And I have enough of those in real life. BTW, all this even though I have stuffed my camp with lots of equipment from unsegmented events. I have no idea how you do China with the original Scandi equipment only.
There should be some really exciting pieces of equipment in special weeks. The higher Candyland regen (aka the parrot) equals the third dragon egg here in China. In my opinion a whole week of doing nothing but these horrible rainbow colored mines should at least be rewarded with a piece of equipment that equals the last dragon egg or lock of someone’s hair or whatever it is you are chasing after in the main story.
I will certainly not buy any special packs because of the weak equipment elsewhere. And truth be told, the equipment from the packs is often pretty unsexy, too.
