Pirates - has 12k XP repeatable = 240k during postcard week

As the title says, Pirates is a shop event with 2*23hr repeatables, one of which is a 12k energy/XP repeatable. In postcard week this is 120k, and if doubled with an ad is 240k. Event costs 500g and is about 1.5M energy total.

Thought the info could be useful to those unaware - it's an easy way to gain XP. Even in Atlantis this gives more XP than even the most energy intensive regular repeatables available. Probably most relevant to those in Scandi or China though, since there is also some equipment that could be of use (149R or 1215C).

I only came across it since I have done all shop events with 3-4 repeatables so was looking whether any of the events with 2 repeatables might be worth opening this week.

Xmas 2014 (4 repeatables, cones can be placed as decoration and give XP, event gives vouchers)
Xmas 2013 (4 repeatables, 1 with 8 h refresh, event gives vouchers)
Brasil cup (4 repeatables, 1 with 8 h refresh)
Diggy‘s 1. birthday (2 repeatables, 1 with 8 h refresh, cheap in energy)

That's totally fine! I think it all comes down to personal preference and strategy, how many gems and energy one has to spend, etc. I personally don't like repeating events (I've only repeated a few when it was really worth it to) and I can't stand repeatables! So I force myself to do them during postcards and DMW and almost never at other times. I did 116 yesterday and I’m so done with it…

I would like to eventually do each shop event once though, so I try to be strategic on what to open when – whether looking at repeats, equipment, gems, materials, etc.

For postcards specifically I would add to your list:

Adventurer 13, Easter 14 and Winter Games also have 4 repeats (1× 8 hr, 3x 23 hr)
Halloween 13, Magisterium, Detective Stories 1 and Arabian Nights each have 2x 8 hr repeats – effectively giving you 2-3x the postcards (Halloween 13 also has a 23 hr repeat)
