It would be nice if you could let us know the result.
Usually it’s either fixed with a restart or people spent the money. So far, to my knowledge, there has never been one single game failure that resulted in a loss of coins or gems, although such a loss is reported by players here in the forum from time to time.
If we get one confirmation from pixel support about such an error in the game, that would be important information.
