I'm sorry that YOU feel that a matter of factly written fault-finding/troubleshooting list of suggested basic generic procedural possibilities to be condescending & useless.

Gamemaster posted his reply to YOUR post suggesting that refreshing the game should fix YOUR issues & that he personally had NO issues through his game at Tuesday, August 24, 2021 5:44 AM........which is 3 minutes after your initial post.
YOU didn't even bother to have the gratitude or politeness to reply to Gamemaster to advise him that YOU had refreshed your game & whether there was any changes to the issues YOU were having.
So in the lack of a response from YOU....I thought I would be nice & offer YOU some further potential/possible basic generic fault-finding/troubleshooting techniques that may or may not be of assistance to YOU at Tuesday, August 24, 2021 12:47 PM......7 hours later.

If YOU had bothered to provide this information in YOUR very 1st initial post along with other specific important details such as the following:
What mediums both you & your wife play through....Portal, Facebook, Apple or Android.
Full details of the fault-finding/troubleshooting techniques that both you & your wife had already tried.
If playing via Portal or Facebook what operating system & browser do you & your wife use.
Then the very first & foremost thing that myself or anyone else nice enough to volunteer their time, energy & effort to offer YOU any assistance would have said that YOUR only option would be is to contact Pixel support directly.
Which in turn would have saved YOU & US a lot of unnecessary time , energy & effort....which has now grown to frustration, irritation, nastiness & insults.
Although I'm a "Players Champion".....I'm NOT a paid employee of Pixel Federation.....I'm simply a fellow player (like yourself).....who voluntarily puts in my time, effort & energy into trying to assist other players when/where possible.
As for YOUR snide/snarky comments about "why not do some investigating first".
What "investigating" do YOU actually expect ME to be able to do?
Bearing in mind that the Moderators, Players Champions, fellow players & myself that voluntarily help out in this Forum are again just fellow players & NOT paid Pixel employees.
Hence WE cannot see inside YOUR game....unless YOU provide US with as much information as possible WE can only provide YOU with basic/generic information.

I am in the same team as Gamemaster.
Gamemaster already told YOU that he had NO issues with his game.
So if all YOU wanted me to say is....that I did NOT have any issues either nor had I heard from any of my other 23 team mates having issues......how would that in turn of assisted YOU?
As a simple glance into MY team did NOT reveal any changes on MY end (or 24 other teams mates ends).
As a matter of fact....if Gamemaster, myself & our other 23 team members are NOT having the issues that YOU (& your wife) are having.....it's even more likely than not that those issues are NOT wide-spread & are even more potentially possibly isolated to being an issue/glitch on YOUR end.
Considering that YOU have no idea what mediums/devices that Gamemaster, myself or our 23 other team mates play through.
Perhaps next time if YOU cannot find YOUR answers after thoroughly "investigating" through all the relevant "Known Bugs & Issues" or "News & Announcements" threads posted by Pixel themselves.
Then YOU should also try thoroughly "investigating" through all other possible relevant Forum sections....for example in this case YOU would "investigate" at least the "Teams" & "General" Forum sections to ascertain whether or not any other players have posted threads/questions in relation to the same issues that YOU are having.
If YOU happen to find a thread that is already active in relation to the same issues YOU are having.....then please post directly into that existing active thread & please refrain from posting a new thread in relation to the same issues that other players are also having....to minimise the workloads on all of US volunteers.
If YOU cannot find that Pixel have reported it as being a KNOWN Issue/Bug......it would be much better for YOU to contact Pixel support directly.
Instead of wasting YOUR & OUR time, effort & energy by posting threads asking for assistance....as YOU seem to know far more than any of US do.
Maybe YOU should ask Pixel to make YOU a Moderator or Players Champion! 🤣😂
I assure YOU that my basic generic fault-finding/troubleshooting techniques are based on procedural informational guidelines that Pixel gave me in relation to the 1st point of call to eliminate the possibility/potential that the issues are coming from YOUR end & NOT theirs.
So what that means is....if YOU were to submit the EXACTLY same limited information in YOUR very 1st initial post to Pixel support directly....assuming that they had NOT received NO other players reports in relation to the same issues.....the very 1st initial response that Pixel support would give YOU is to do the same types of basic generic procedural fault-finding/troubleshooting techniques.....to eliminate the possibility/potential that the issues are coming from YOUR end & NOT theirs.
So that if WE have got players to already perform these basic generic procedural fault-finding/troubleshooting techniques without any success.....then the next step is to contact Pixel support directly.
By getting players to do these these basic generic procedural fault-finding/troubleshooting techniques first & foremost.....if they are successful then WE have alleviated the necessity for that player going through to Pixel support.
As we are all playing a game that is available on multiple various electronic devices/mediums that requires an internet connection.....the whole idea of using a known, tried & tested set of basic generic procedural fault-finding/troubleshooting techniques is to narrow down the potential/possible causes of the issues/glitches.
I again assure you that these basic generic fault-finding/troubleshooting techniques have helped & assisted a multitude of players.
I have even had multiple thank-you messages from Diggys Adventure players saying that these basic generic fault-finding/troubleshooting techniques have assisted themselves & their family/friends in non game related issues/glitches & also players of other games not attached to Pixel.
The most common things that alleviate most players issues 9/10 times are.....refresh/close-down/re-open, log out/in, update device/system/apps, uninstall/reinstall, clear cache/cookies/history/storage, re-set modem, switch device on/off & use different browser/medium.
I aliken this scenario to be a real life situation of for example....you are stuck on the side of the road.....I happen to be a passer by.....I have 2 options....I can be nice & volunteer to try to assist you....even though I might or might not have the tools to get you going....or I can simply ignore you & leave you stranded on the side of the road.
So me being a nice person I decide to stop & see if I can be of any assistance.....unfortunately I don't have the tools to fix your issues.....so then you proceed to be rude, insult me, make unnecessary snide/snarky remarks & tell me that I wasted your time.
Next time I see you stuck on the side of the road....I will purposely drive through the big muddy puddle you are standing next to, give you a wave/beep & I will drive HAPPILY off into the sunset....leaving you stranded on the side of the road 👋🛻🌄🤣😂
