I inadvertently went back thru the first gate to look once again at the telescope to follow proper path to get the gates to open, the gate closed and now when i take the path the gate will not reopen. I did get to the second gate and followed the path and it never opened at all. I have a screenshot that shows the proper path but it did not work. That is why I went back to the first one...pls help

Since we are players like you we can only give as good advice as information provided, could you please post a screenshot of your game problem 🙂
Other than that I can only advice to slowly go step by step because when you miss just one you have to start over. I know that you know that, but sometimes we are so sure we did it right even though we missed one step 🥴

In certain scenarios it is much more easier to consult, study & follow the maps instead of the videos.
