@EmilyDiggynson, a reason to move regions this week is that the builder events usually have really good equipment so you would be able to take advantage of that while Egypt event equipment is too low for your camp. Also, the builder mines have a lot of material crates so you would get a start on Scandinavia materials.

You can also start cooking Scandanavia foods if you move up. I think that having vintage equipment and having done the hard parts of unsegmented old events should mean you're ready for Scandinavia.

Summer Builder is supposed to start July 28 - a little over a week from now.

My Egypt Diggy and my Terra Diggy have each passed a milestone of sorts this week. Their lowest day regen equipment is now 100 and 300 per slot, respectively.

Egypt Diggy just added the second Teapot Set - Ruby and he'll get the third one from the repeatable before the event ends so I've played Detective II for the last time! 😀

It was the same for me! I was about to hit like for the great optics, but then I shied away from it. I thought Roeland might find it stupid if I like a Terra subject, being so far away from it.

But really they do amazing jobs in the design team. I was smitten with him right away and now I had to laugh reading your post. Us girls…😍😋

Good morning! Trying to catch up with all that has happened here. The number of notifications in the morning is always quite overwhelming.

So some of the girls are hitting on a long haired poodle with dreadlocks. The Diggy universe surely is … uhm … diverse?! 😉

I have been reading all your kind advice regarding THE LEAP to Scandi and did some maths. Summer builder would really have some nice Scandi equipment for me. But those repeatables every four hours would kill me. Not to mention additional event mines and having to open the repeatables of the North. Plus finishing all these old events from my DMW shopping spree. Summing it up alone drains all the fun.

So, I just purchased another old event, this time Brazil Cup. Those repeatables for the footballs cost quite a bit of energy compared to other event repeatables. Want them done before Scandi, so those 28 days are my countdown to the North. In the meantime I’ll play old events back to back and stuff my camp with even more equipment.

As far as teams are concerned: is summer builder really connected to the new feature? Or is it just a rumor? And don’t blame me for your dirty team fantasies! 🙃 But if they really connect getting strong equipment to a team of random strangers, I will move in with you before winter builder. ☃️

Yes, you are right, I like very much that he has. But at that moment my „liking“ would have been for being absolutely smitten with this white plush and I felt that would be wrong to press like for that. I get crushes easily 😍🥰.

More a husky than a poodle. I think they did a nice job on that one.

@CactusFlower I found it a lot easier to stockpile food after I hit Atlantis. As you move up in regions there are some really good 30 minute, 2 hour and overnight foods and I can make them without hitting repeatables other than during DMW.

I have had food stockpiling rules too: Sometimes it's save the overnight food but use the daytime food as I go. Or save half the food I make and it's okay to use the other half. Eat the ugly food but save the prettier stuff. Or use the half hour food but stockpile the overnight and 2 hour food. The stockpiled food can be used for the special item parts of mines (e.g. the feathers, the shields), event Challenge mines, the energy intensive special weeks or to time a region change and open the repeatables. So I do use it - it doesn't just pile up.

gamemaster Woohoo!!!! Congrats! 💐 😀 I did a happy dance half an hour ago too, I may still be 63,377 herbs away from completion, but I gained 4,900 herbs during this DMW.

Jacqueline-MC That is because it's a feather part section. These are completely optional and to be done only if you want to buy that equipment purchasable with those 150k energy feathers. You can still move to next quest and do this whenever you have lack of time.
Yes you'll have 12k tiles outside as well, but much more rare.

Events are the best, no doubt. I don't mind not getting time or break weeks to play the main questline.

gamemaster Congatulations!! So now you've completed all the persistent Egypt achievements? I'm getting close on Copper - only a bit under 4000 to go. Tin, iron and herbs are all about half way through level 6. Still need bamboo and black pearls, but I figure I'll catch up to the developers in Terra at some point and go back to start clearing earlier regions which will help with those.

@CynthiaF @MadameCurie It may be better to wait to use green rings on Egypt until you are higher level. The amount of herbs you get for a green ring in the chamber of fortune goes up as your level increases. I only did Egypt once this DMW. Did Terra fortune mine a few times and got enough to finish buying the Terra carts and Kraken. Next DMW, I should be over level 500 and I might do Egypt for herbs (especially since I shouldn't need any other materials other than for pillars/caravan tickets by then).

MadameCurie I think the question would be "how many repeatables and gems to refresh Fortune mines during DMW did it take? " 😁 If I remember correct gamemaster plays for 4 years now, whereas I play for 4,5 (and look where I am 😂😂😂).

4 years and my partner is only at around 40k/80k and has been playing about 4.5 years.
Fortune mines every 2x, did 3 Egypt and 15 Terra this round.

Good point, so you will want to do some Egypt chambers like i did to get tin and iron ore and/ or wait until you get to Greece to get a higher amount of herbs through the chamber there.

Yes I know about the fortune chambers. This DMW I did four extra rounds for gems - that was a first. I could have played an old story for that. So it takes a good deal of resolve to spend a huge amount of gems. Like if a long road has steep hills to climb in addition. A four year-Tour des herbes so to speak 🌱.
gamemaster‘s achievement feels like a hercules‘ deed! 💪

I decided that I will cut short on shop events and move through the main story to china, because there was no improvement in the fortune chamber with the move to Scandi. But there will be in China. And someone here wrote that the really good equipments starts in China also. I want to believe that 🤞

I did. It is true, the dragon scales are high energy but really great. Also I still have a builder trophy from over 2 years ago in my camp from China. It will finally leave my camp when the next one finishes as that is the next 4 slot equipment piece to go out of my camp.

gamemaster That is a lot. I only did China once, Egypt (for the herbs, tin and iron ore) and Atlantis (for the lobster and the perls) twice, and Greece for all the new material and especially the herbs I did 4 times. Only 33 Green Rings left, need to restock again 😉

I started with 413 green rings and had 107 left when i was done.
I gained some through events and am now and on 127.
I got lots through events that you can get green rings because the equipment is useless for me in those events.
