Decorations Achievement

I never paid much attention to completing this achievement, but now am trying to finish it off. However, when I place decorations in my camp, the achievement numbers stay the same, and don't reflect putting more decorations out. At one time in the past, after putting out the max number allowed, it took a week before the number changed. My question is: Why don't the numbers update at the time I place the decorations? Is this a bug? Right now I have the max number allowed, been there for several days, no change in number. Any thoughts?

The wiki states that you get the achievement for buying decorations, no matter how often you place them.

So in order to get on you have to buy more.

The placing in your camp has nothing to to with it. As in every achievement it is getting the things, not what you do with them afterwards.

So get and buy new ones, then the number should go up.

To remove or sell decorations, check your settings if the decoration lock is off = red.

Selling doesn’t reduce your achievement. It gives some coins and you have space to place other decorations.

If you tap on a decoration in your camp, the dollar symbol means sell and the arrow down means back in your backpack. Both do nothing with the achievement.

pixel_player673730321 Decoration achievement is not about the No of items you place in your camp but about the No of items you aquire. Store all decos in your inventory, go to the shop and buy an inexpensive item (e.g. a fence). Check your achievement and you will see it went up 🙂

Your forum must be extremely slow, because I wrote too much, too winding, too long and I had to check and copy.

Mine works fine (knock on wood).
Hope yours improves.

Really it would be good to see „Cynthia is writing…“ - maybe just for us helpers, to spare double work. Sometimes there is research and translation and longer posts involved and I hesitate to start, in case one is at it already.

Just a thought, what if you left a short note before researching. "Be back shortly ", or something. That would let others know you are working on it.
