I have a suggestion. Could we maybe have a way to request windmills using the teams. This was really why I got excited about the teams concept because I have not been able to have windmills since leaving facebook. It would be great to get the extra energy!!

Can you please make the Teams icon stay only in the camp or give some option to toggle it off or something? Don’t really care for it being on-screen all the time. Previously, only thing ALWAYS on was the last tile finder, but now there’s this constant, visual distraction (aka annoyance) always on the screen. Don’t know how many times I’ve tried to click a tile or something and instead inadvertently hit that stupid thing.

The new request allowances are not helpful for anyone in Terra, but they are one step above nothing.
Oh, correction. I am speaking for myself. Some may find it helpful if they are working toward some future pillar or equipment not available yet. If I could request a few chilis several times a week that might be considered (by me anyway) more helpful than alder .This is no incentive to use Teams and I am reconsidering participation, I see no point and find the competition aspect unappealing.

Well, that's really weird. 🤔
We get 1 point for an achievement.
What exactly does this mean?
Do we get a point when the achievement is at 8/8 level? or...?
🧐 Out of curiosity, I checked because I found my score increase too high, even though I only finished two locations, but at the same time took over the rewards of many achievement-levels.
In Titan's eye level 2 was 19/20 topaz, so I bought 1 topaz for 3 CH. Vouchers. I completed the second level of Titan's eye and got a point for it.
According to these we get 1 point per an achievement level.

Team Friends

I think it would be great if there was a added button in the teams area so you could add one of your team mates to your friends list.

If you are referring to being able to add Friends to your Facebook account.....this in game Teams Features was designed to be completely separate from Facebook.

If you &/or your Team Members want to add other Team Members to Facebook Friends then I would suggest posting your Facebook information in your Team Chat &/or putting it in your Team Description information.

There are some changes/additions I'd like to see.
1) I have booted players every week that apparently are not playing as there is no increase in points. I don't know the reason for players joining a team and then doing nothing. I know people go on vacation or have things come up but I've asked that a heads up be given. But unfortunately it seems very few people even bother to read the chat. I'd like to see some indication of the last time a member either visits the team page or played the game. Maybe another stat column showing last play period (e.g., 1 day, 4 days, 18 days)
2) Players that join a team, not play or contribute, get booted, and then join another team should be banned from joining a team if they've been booted a set number of times. This should minimize the number of "dead wood" players (especially those leeching rewards if the teams ever reach a competition state).
3) The amount of materials that can be requested is ridiculous and not even worth asking for, especially when I can get most just from playing a materials map. Why not make the amount of materials determined by the teams rank? Maybe that would get members interested in playing more.
4) Allow team leader to set a minimum achievement level for players to join. If a member stops playing and is going to be booted, I'd like to be able to have an incoming player be a higher level than the bootee so as to keep team rank the same or higher.
5) Allow member names and stats to be sortable in either ascending or descending order.

I'm not sure where the whole team thing is going but if it ends up just being for material requests then it's not for me, at least as a team leader.

On a side note, is anyone else having an issue with the Local(?) icons showing in the leaderboard? Even with a connection of 50+Mbps all I get is rotating arrows and white circles.

You can set the minimum game level so players below that game level cannot join.

No, players can do want they want and don't need people like you to tell them.
They play and do want what they want and if that's not good enough for the team then it's their option to boot them or not.

I get that now and then, usually a refresh or 2 sorts it out.

Right from the start when this feature was introduced I had a feeling that those teams will not necessarily bring likeminded people together, but start to divide players and add unnecessary pressure. In my opinion adding this feature was a really bad idea. We had so many complaints on this forum now either by players who felt kicked out of a team with no reason or by team leaders, requesting performance.

So if you want feedback, here it comes: delete those team buttons and let’s not talk about it ever again!

DiveBohol Your prerogative as a team leader to set up the team requirement, you can have a minumum entry level and in your team description you can make it very clear what you expect e.g. "daily play required, minumum 3000 points..." Players like me (not competitive at all) will not join and If they do and get thown out at least they know why.
That said, according to your suggestions players who are just enjoying the game and do not want to compete, are dead wood and therefore have either no right to play resp. no right to access all aspects of the game 👎How very narrow minded! We do not tell you how to enjoy this game, so please don't suggest your way is the only right way. In your scenario players, who got booted a couple of times because the team leaders want their friends to join and need to make room, loose the right to join another team? I know this is not what you meant but how do you determine who got booted because Peter, Paul or Mary had to join or because they did not meet the team standard? So many variables you should consider before asking for a ban.
I, not competitive, am in a team of like minded players from Egypt to Terra. We do not care about rankings (somewhere around 27,000 in the world 🤣), BUT not a day goes by where we don't have lots of fun and laughter. There are a lot of teams like ours out there and they have the right to be there just like your team with your standards has.
Sorry for the long rant but it makes me sad and mad when people do not think their visions/ideas through. We have players being so frustrated that they think of leaving the game because they got booted a couple of time and don't know why.

I have a good example for you regarding #1:
I am currently working my way through Centre of the Earth Challenge #3 which has 1225 tiles to clear...and I've newly arrived in Greece. I am just barely half way through clearing the tiles at 625 and I have been working on it for several days. I'm sure my team members have no way of knowing where I am on it or how I'm doing without me letting them know! We work on things at our own pace and let our team mates know as we want to be cheered on which is what we do for each other.
If I was on your team you would probably boot me off because it doesn't look like I am making any progress on the game. Totally unfair!
We enjoy working at our own pace and we enjoy chatting with each other in the team chat (which doesn't always work so well) as well as chatting on the forum in our own chat that others can and do join in on. Some are more competitive than others but by joining our team they have agreed not to be competitive as a team but more as individuals. I like to see where I am compared with others but it's not a driving factor. Some are ahead of me and some behind and I am happy with that! I love my team and the fact that we all have each others back.

I would like to see the position of the big red 'leave team' button moved to a different location. I, and several other members of my team have almost accidentally hit the button. Not a good thing to happen...

EmilyDiggynson You can say what you want but I've played games that had teams that were competitive and ranked. That is not the case with Diggy teams right now, but if changes are made (why else would teams be currently ranked if it's not going to mean anything?) then I want my team to have ACTIVE players. And right now, the feedback I've gotten from my team members is that they're grateful I'm doing what I am regarding deadwood players.

My feedback is, if pixel would ever think of implementing the points 1 and 2 of DiveBohol, I would quit teams at once and never touch the teams feature again. Maybe quit connection with pixel altogether.

Never would I tolerate my playing to be monitored and judged, and banning people for „insufficient playing“ belongs to Orwell‘s world and not to Diggy or Pixel.

I‘m happy to be in a team where one can sleep for a year if that’s what makes you happy. Points and ranks are not the only thing teams is for. Yes, really there is something called team spirit, if some don’t remember that one.

Everyone to his/her taste. Sometimes feedback to feedback is important, too.
