I can understand that there might be problems that need time to be fixed. However, it would be nice to let us know if Candyland is postpone or not.

Update has hit my mobile, but the timer says 5 days remaining rather than 7. Not sure if that is a bug or more shenanigans.

Yeah, Candyland is available now, but I'm annoyed at the 5 days. Was it like that last time? I can't really remember...

I like the equipment though.

It was 7 days last time (equip is better this time). PC version also says 5 days. Which of course means we're going down the "make people spend gems to refresh the repeatables to score more/better equip" route again, the lesson from which should have been learned after the previous related fiasco.

marco235 6 repeatables every 6 hours. Which means thrice a day for 5 days = 90 candies + 18 from the factory.
Need energy here rather than gems.
Atleast we can calculate everything in advance unlike the uncertainty of chilli out.

Abhi In order to max equipment you need 138 candies (6x14 for the individual pieces + 3x18 for the big regen piece). Even with a timer on, 5 days x 4 cycles per day x 6 candies = 120 candies. And that doesn't account for time spent converting candy between types if you don't have an even distribution.

ETA forgot about the freebies from the factory which would give 144 if you had a timer set, which is very few of us.

marco235 You don't have to get all the equipment. You can get as many equipments as you collect candies. Or if you want all, you can spend gems. Paying people get a little extra while F2P also get something significant, fair enough. Chilli out was a different story.

Also, last time, each smaller piece required 14 of one candy. And the bigger one needed 28 of each.
So even if we have a smaller timer this time, it takes lesser refreshes to get the equipment. Which is a plus point.

138 is indeed the number, so that means mining 115 which gives you 23 free & a total of 138 🙂. The 5 day event (confirmed on the Wiki page) will give "alarm clock" players that want to maximise returns (regardless of sleep) 4 runs per day for the first 4 days ( 4x4x6=96), but only 3 runs on the final day due to the game finishing at noon (3x6=18). Adding these numbers (96+18=114) it seems that this event has been deliberately pitched one short of the required total, and therefore impossible to get all equipment without gems 😶.
That being said, equipment does look good, even though I'm in the same region as last time the event was released. You only need to mine 70 (+14=84) to get the 6 double slots & some mega equipment for those that want to spend the appropriate gem/time/eating food combination. Exactly what most people on the forum wanted, albeit within the confines of a very repetitive week 😳. Hope you've all got your 7 day speed potions on folks...

I'm in Victoria Australia....I got Candy Land at approximately 12.30AM (AEST) on Wednesday 2 June.

The first in-game information pop up window states that Candy Land will be available until 8 June 12.00 GMT.

I'm confused....does this mean 12.00AM OR 12.00PM?

However in the Map Manger it says that there is only 5 days left for Candy Land?

Can we please know why Candy Land Special WEEK has been changed from a 7 day (WEEK) event to a 5 day event?

Happy-Haze Collecting candies will likely be available till 12 noon GMT on 6th june. The remaining 2 days would be to convert between the candies in the factory.

Last time we had 7+2 days, this time we have 5+2.

with my 23K+ in daymode and 89K+ in nightmode as maximum. I don't think my energy build up fast enough (even i get up at night to play - which i won't). But had a look at what there is on offer. And 175 per slot (china) for 54 candy's is possible. Do that's my first goal and for the rest I just see what i can get.
The clear mine bonus is at least very good, and on the last hours, don't clear a mine if you only need some candy. The shortest route can still be costly but not as much as clearing all tiles.

Read most of the posts from the last time, so remember: Nobody is telling you to play this feature!

But it is sad that for a special week they don't reset the achievements. That would be realy great. so for a third time running, make other candy which gives you an extra incentive to play

Other consideration for me is difficulty for strategy/planning with not knowing exactly the timing. Is it really going to be 5+2, or is it going to be 5+0 (which means only 4 days to get candy)? Or, as suggested above, do I get enough for 14 and then go back to other quests?

Abhi You don't have to get all the equipment.

Yes, we know, but Candyland is a boring event. Always the same repeatables and you need your alarm clock on for a week? The only upside, and it is a good one, is that the equipments are better. So if it's designed in a way that I won't be able to get them all, well, that's adding insult to injury, really.

And yes, the last equipment is 30 candies cheaper, but cutting two days robs you of 42 candies...

Abhi ah I see. Pitty. This game is becoming worse and worse. Why robbing us of two days of gameplay when a person can convert candies on the go - to convert a candy takes only an hour. This was my favourite new event during winter, now it's just cr*p to suck gems out of ppl without trying to be at least a little bit creative... During winter I got 6 pieces of equipment, now I guess it'll be only 3 (maybe 4, but I don't think I'll even bother to push myself)

For my Scandinavian account 240 is the best regeneration equipment. It looks like 2 slots width which means it‘s again only 120 reg. per slot.

Doesn’t look like great for me. I guess I go for the green rings again, like last time.

I hate this segmented approach, comes with regular disappointment.

Prove me wrong by telling me it‘s a one slot 240 reg. and see me beam with joy again 😉

(For Egypt it‘s 160 reg. max for 2 slots, so 80 per slot. Again I will rather skip it and take the green rings. Or again, is this 1 slot?)

MadameCurie I guess it's time for you to move to China 😉 At least you'll get better equipment.
China was my favorite region, I wish I was still there, I especially loved the look of the camp. I only continued to Atlantis so I can get better equipment from the events.

This event is quite expensive when it comes to energy, especially if you want to get all the equipment, like I do. I depleted most of my food the last time & I know it will happen again. But, at least I'll get usable equipment. I still use half of the equipment from the last Candyland event.

I feel like I only cook the recipes & save the food so I can have enough energy for the builder events & this one 😉
