I am level 394 now but I hit Greece around level 380 I think it was. Yes I get bogged down by the events too and do not progress quickly through the regions. I do all the side quests though as you get really good basic materials for your current region plus progress in the hero achievements which give a lot of experience for level ups. I do all the event and event replays all the way through, start to finish for the great camp equipment, and the high experience for location clearing on the replays. I go through the main story regions as I have time in between events. On my fast side my 2 high regens are at 206, 3 high regens are at 198, and 4 high are at 149, as there really is not great 4 high equipment till Greece. I am there now but real life has meant no time to fix my camp so my camp is still at my Atlantis equipment. On my slow side, capacity is 2 high is 1,715, 3 high is 1,584, 4 high is 900. Those are all my lowest right now. Of course some equipment is on both sides, mainly the 4 high stuff. I still have China equipment that is useful. The golden ticket trophies especially will be a long time before they leave my camp. I even still have my dragon of metal regen in my camp as it is still useful.
Yes I agree the numbers need to be tweaked again. I was almost to Atlantis the last time PF tweaked the camp equipment and that is almost 2 years ago now. And yep the events make progressing through the main regions slow. But they have the best equipment usually so always worth playing first. For when I started playing and the events I have replayed, I think level 380 was about right for Greece. Players starting now, with segmented events, will be a lot higher entering regions. I started before so I had a ton of unsegmented events, which was kinda nice as I had a ton of China materials when I entered China, a few Atlantis and Greek materials already. Plus a huge head start on the achievements. I wish PF had not gone to segmented events but I understand why they had too. Honestly when I started playing, Greece was only partway started. The side quests for Greece were not even available and I think only about half of the main quest line was started. All I remember was that I started playing around October or November 2016.

Thanks for the reply...always interested to hear other diggers game stats 🙂. Sounds like we play in the same way. Events always have priority over quest line....we're not in any hurry! Got really lucky entering Atlantis one day before red rings week, so was able to stock up on Atlantean materials quite quickly. Started this account Jan 2019. Maxing out my camp at 8hrs/16hrs I can get just over 500 000 energy per day, which is quite decent. Have never spent money on the game so just bought best materials available at the time. I have a dim & distant memory of an upgrade to some existing camp equipment about two years ago. Sounds like a good idea...maybe we should start a petition....😶. Happy digging...

Equipment issue for years.
When i got to New World there was only a few to get and then Terra had nothing for me, not even the carts.
Not even the capacity reward from the Gods in Terra are any good, the regens are great.

Just read some of these older posts for the first time & realised this is well trodden ground! Think I'll just stay in Atlantis indefinitely 🙃!

My camp is set to 8 hours for work and sleep, and 3 hours for when I have time to play. It works well for me.

OldTimer I’m in the same position as you. I’m in Altlantis and at level 353. I didn’t even bother to look at the regular camp equipment because nothing there is worth it to me. I get all my equipment through the events. They clearly haven’t changed their equipment design calculations forever - they aren’t taking into account how the game has evolved.

ich finde die Shop-Ausrüstung genau richtig, aber die Event-Ausrüstungen viel zu hoch. Mittlerweile braucht man nicht viel mehr als 1 Jahr um bis nach Terra zu kommen....

That is pretty much my camp set up, too. I play each event and finish it completely before moving on to the next which is why I'm currently a day behind in Candyland! I'm hoping that I will be able to at least get the equipment that is 480 total (240 per slot).
I'm currently level 441 and still in Atlantis. I'm just finishing up the last 4 mines in Hyperion. I will finish everything before moving on to Greece. Most all of the equipment available is useless and hope that PF will change their equipment calculations. But, I fear, it will never happen.
I agree that I might just stay in Atlantis for a long time!

Once Hyperion is done the titan challenges take a long time to complete. In between events, it took me 2 months to complete them and the last 2 or 3 mines of Atlantis. I think it is one father quest map and then the 2 that get you to Greece. The titan challenges are over 11 million energy and are very slow going as they are high energy.

@Tigger1987 I suspect that I will continue in Atlantis for a long time then! Here I thought I was getting close to the end...silly me!

Another option is to do what I did to further them along. If I got a level up during an event, I used the energy from it to clear the titan challenges, then went back to the event. Also at times before work, I used my overnight energy to clear them as I did not have time to play the event and be to work on time. They will take awhile though but little things help.

Yeah my food gets used as soon as it is done, otherwise most events would not get completed at all. I do concentrate on events though and do the main quest line when I get time. I still am not done with the replay event and I barely finished the Diggy quest event.

@gamemaster Based on a post from you a long time ago I started saving food and while I don't have as much as you do I have a healthy stockpile of over 38,000,000 and I hate using it! I've become a hoarder! I just have a hard time using it after I've saved it...weird! I feel compulsive about finishing each location, too, so I guess that I will just keep plugging along! It's the enjoyment of the journey that counts, right? Thanks for the link to the story mines and costs involved.

CactusFlower Wow, 38 millions in food? I can dream of that. The most I think I had was maybe 7-8 millions. After I got to China I started to spend it a lot on the special weeks like the builder events, red rings & now candyland, as the cost of the mines gets bigger & bigger...

When i left China i had almost 12 million in stock.
The next regions you will notice a far more increase in the amount of food you make.

I'm at 168 million and will eat somewhere near 20 million in the next 10 days to finish Birthday 8 and clear the Terra locations.
There are plenty of others with far more than me.

Yes, it is weird, that's sort of how we both feel, and why my partner is still in Greece and has over 100 million in stock.
It's just nice to use it when you feel like it and just because you wanted to at the time.

😆 I actually didn't want to use the food at all at first. I loved scrolling through them & looking at all the different fun food. 😆 Was that weird? Even now, I keep one item from the really cute or cool looking food 😉 especially from the events.

And yes, now that I'm in Atlantis, it's easier & faster to stockpile it because the food brings a lot more energy compared to the previous regions. I guess it will be even better later on 🙂

Anyway, now, I'd rather spend it on special weeks when I need it, so I can get the most from that equipment & rings, precious stones, etc.

I guess, the more regional progress you make, the bigger stockpile of food.

I used to do that, have at least 1 item of each food.
But this year i just ate from the lowest and took them all out, that scrolling list was so long.
The biggest jump in food is when you get to Greece, the next regions a little better.
When i left Atlantis i had 21 million in food, 6 months later i had over 69 million even after eating nice amounts.
