This is not linked with facebook, everyone will be able to enjoy this feature (as it gradually rolls out). It would make no sense adding more FB dependent features.

Happy-Haze You can search for a team and join it, I don't think you can search individuals and befriend them.
This is probably nothing related with friends, you might be stuck with Mr. Bill for now.

pixel_player97456278 Ofcourse you can change a team as many times as you like. But you might not be able to disable the chat. There's no personal messaging I believe so not like anyone would message you personally, just the general team chat. Your option to skip that is to not join a team. As of now, it's easy to ignore it since it only has some free resources inside.
