The countdown timer in my camp says the event still has 20 hours left to run, which makes sense as events start and end on Tuesdays at 8am and that's how long it is until the next 8am-on-a-Tuesday.
However, if I tap the pot by the timer everything is greyed out and it incorrectly claims "event has ended". The event map is also missing from the maps screen.
This is unacceptable, since I was nowhere near completing the event and I did not make any mistakes. Indeed, I am incapable of such; for example, I have reached the end milestone of every Event Pass since that feature was introduced, with days to spare and without spending food or gems. I cannot fail, I can only be failed, and you have quite clearly failed me.
As restitution, the following are to be done immediately:
- A public apology is to be posted here acknowledging your error and confirming that I am not a loser or no good at the game and that I did not make any errors.
- All of the remaining unclaimed rewards are to be added to my inventory in the game. Those would be everything from, and including, the "5000" point onward.
- Once that has been done I am to be notified, either in this thread or by email, that it has been done.
Furthermore, if this event is run again the bug with the timer is to be corrected so that the maps and everything else remain accessible for the full duration of the event, ending at 8 am on a Tuesday in particular. That is not all, though. Any future repeat of this event is to be rebalanced to give a fair chance at completion to F2P players. I leave the details up to you: extend the duration to 2 or more weeks, lower (drastically) the scale of the pots needed for the various rewards, or whatever.
Alternatively, if that is technically feasible, fixing the timer bug immediately and extending the event by at least one week immediately could obviate all of the above.
In either case, compliance must occur within 20 hours. Fail me again and you will discover the many negative consequences that befall those who repeatedly fail me and then actively refuse to make things right, starting with a barrage of negative publicity the likes of which haven't been seen since the Watergate scandal. You have been warned.
