Chani Where does it say that the maximum is five chilies?
And if this is really so, I still think the event is poorly designed. I mean, next time I might calculate the odds, knowing about the maximum of 5 chilies. Spend a few gems early in order to maximize free spins with better odds.
But still I think that the event is poorly designed. If you want people to spend gems, shouldn't you try to hook them on it, instead of discouraging them with a ridiculous amount of points needed. I mean, now almost halfway through the event time the points needed for a decent reward look totally unachievable. By a factor if 10 or 15, so, really far out of range. As it looks right now, without the info about the five-chilies-cap, which is reall hard to find, I would estimate to double or triple my points so far, ending up with about 5000-10.000 in total. Why do they think, that someone would spend gems on such a seemingly hopeless effort? My points per cooking session did not improve over time, and are at an all-time low right now (5/14 are chilies, after all).
Shouldn't you throw in some encouragement and progress at the early stages, I wonder.
