Unfortunately, I am afraid that "try again" button cannot be implemented in our game. I remember discussing such option once and the result was that it wasn't possible with selected ad provider.
Regarding of Pixel's awareness of the issues with the ads, our analytical team makes analyses on ads using / failing, etc. on a regular basis, which means that we have complete data of how many players watched the ads successfully and received the bonuses, how many players weren't successful watching the ads and thus didn't receive the extra bonus, as well as how many players refused watching the ads. These data help us on a regular basis to modify the placement of the ads in the game, as well as they are a good proof for the ad provider when something doesn't work correctly.
The fact is that people (also in real life) often complain when there is a problem, but rarely take time to share a good experience (and this is absolutely fine - I personally act the same way in my personal life - while everything is OK, I don't write anything anywhere, however, as soon as I have a problem, I report it). That's why there are so many reports on the ads not working here and there, which of course, makes everyone think that the ads are just not working. And that's the reason why I can assure you that we do forward every single report to our ad provider, as well as our analytical team keeps following the trends of the ad features and reports these, too 🙂
I understand that this situation is frustrating for a lot of players - I, as a player, can understand this pretty much, because I am also very upset when I don't get the reward promised by the ad when playing my favorite game (for example, Plants vs. Zombies 😃 ) and sometimes, I am even angry, when the promised bonus could be really huge and I get nothing. But as I said, we cannot do anything else than keep reporting the issues to the ad provider and perhaps, in the future, more ad providers will be included and the experience will be better - I hope 🙂
