Unfortunately sometimes no ads are available and then it doesn’t show up.
Nothing can be done about it afterwards. I had it in a lower region but still miss my 800,000 XP and many occasions more.
What you could try next time: Shortly before finishing, clear a little repeatable and check if the double option shows up in the end. Do NOT take it but finish the big location instead.
If no ad is available you will see that in the cheap repeatable and try again later.
