The tile cost are not depending on the level, only on the Region as you noticed with Scandinavia.
The difference is biggest in moving from Egypt to Scandinavia., its 6x.
Later, with every Region the tile costs will increase even further, but not such big factors.
It’s part of the diggy game.
Nobody knows why and why exactly with this biggest difficulty at the fist move when many players get frustrated. We didn’t get an answer to that so far. I will try to get one and let all of us know if I should succeed.
I myself was so disgusted that I started from scratch with a new account. Means of course, you lose everything. But then I built up an extremely strong camp bevore moving to Scandi and now like it much better there.
Most people just disgruntle through it. It gets better with time and better equipment.
