Just to add.....if you are referring to how do you actually open the next region China from Scandinavia.
To get to China you need to complete all Main, God's & Fathers quests in Scandinavia. As with the step up from Egypt to Scandinavia, the tiles in China are significantly more energy intensive than the ones in Scandinavia.
The quest in Scandinavia that unlocks China is called "Ragnarok" which becomes available after "Eyjafjallajokull Volcano".
If you are having issues in Scandinavia finding new quests do the same steps above....the only difference is that you return to the City Of Fjordheim & you return to Valhalla to speak to to God's.
