EVENT IDEAS WANTED! 👀

I've got three ideas, but I don't think other players or the designers would like them.

One is Quake Island. Diggy goes to an island that has had an earthquake and has to dig underground saving people, clearing ways for safety, breaking into mines and locations for supplies. Pathways can cave in, and Diggy has to dig new passageways.

Another is Lavaville. Diggy is called upon to save people from a forest fire. He clears paths, searches homes, hides people in mines to protect them, does puzzles to get food and tools and gets cut off from other pathways, going through caves to new areas and digging underground for a lake to flood the forest and put out the fire.

Return to Pixelville - Diggy visits a realm populated by versions of characters from other games (Homescapes, Lily's Garden, Matchington Manor). Kind of Diggy's Version of "Wreck-It Ralph"

As much as I love the events based on movies, there are a lot of possibilities for a game like this.

diggyfan101 Fine-tuning this idea, Diggy helps an explorer looking for mythical beasts in five countries: The unicorn in China, a dragon in Japan, a winged horse in Greece, a Sottish kelpie and an American Thunderbird. The challenges are solving riddles to the gates where they live, and collecting certain relics to move to the next challenge.

Yes, Diggy travels to Iraq and is accidentally sent back in time to Ancient Mesopotamia. In order to return to the present, Diggy has to fix history by helping Noah collect 5-7 animals that wandered away, got trapped by hunters or stuck in strange locations. He could collect gold shekels and help make food for the trip.

I read through the whole thread to see if anyone else had any of the same ideas I did, and there are so many more cool ideas I didn't even think of!

I am going to second, third, fourth or whatever suggestions for:

Asterix and Obelix
Discworld
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
and Star Wars

I know there was an older story based on Lord of the Rings, but how about one for the Hobbit?

Game of Thrones, but a "cleaned up" version without all the sex and violence...and maybe a different ending?

Anything based on classic, or "old school" anime like Robotech, Star Blazers/Yamato, or Captain Harlock.

Godzilla/Mothra/King Ghidora and any of the other Giant Monsters

Any and all of the well-known fairy tales. Each mine could cover one fairy tale, or there could be two or three events covering a few fairy tales each.

Harry Potter (unless there's been one already, and I missed it?)

Star Trek...but it would be funniest if it was the "old school" style, with a Captain that keeps breaking the rules (but with good intentions!) and lots of friends who just happen to be female...but not, you know, "girlfriends."

Elfquest was an awesome set of comics and novels that would be fun to play through.

Totally off topic, but YES, there was one, Parry Hotter and no, nobody can play it, because it’s not in the shop. I know someone who misses that one a lot… 😋

pixel_player69822906 I'm not familiar with some of these franchises but the Godzilla idea would fit very well with my Quakeville idea about Diggy rescuing people in the ruins of buildings. He could also collect the pieces needed to destroy the giant monsters.

All the previously released Storylines are on the relevant Wiki page....you just need to look through them....there are many different types of movies, books, nursery rhymes, etc that have been covered

How about a Land of the Lost event like the 70s TV show? Diggy could go in search of a missing family (Nick, Billy and Molly), land in the land of the lost and help them collect food, crystals and supplies while going through the marshland, jungle, the caves, the lost city, pylons with underground passages on the way to get home.

an adventure based on Discworld (Terry Prachett) with witches, wizards, City watchs and the guilds and an assortment of various species (Trolls, Golums, Dwarves, Vampires etc etc)

How about a game that is OCD friendly? A game with empty niches and places to separate items. I mean, when I play, I just have to organize items to leave an empty path throughout, or group boulders together or piles snow balls together?

For Diggy's next Birthday event, he should "time travel" to past Events (like Titanic, the current Europe trip, the Wonderland event, the Dark Rider event, etc.) and bring those characters back for his birthday. I'd love to see characters from EVERY event in there - even ones from Halloween and Christmas.
