Tigger1987 could not even buy much equipment from them because I was having to use the items for energy to even finish the event. Once I got my camp cleared out events were easier. Also when I was clearing my camp buying the effects for gems was not available yet. That came when I was already in Atlantis.
I probably shouldn't say anything but my darn curiousity has got the better of me....I just can't contain myself π
I'm a quite confused & perplexed by what you are saying here.
If you "could not even buy much equipment" with the Event Special Items because you didn't have enough energy to finish the events...instead of buying Event Food Items with your Event Special Items....you could/should have been making recipes constantly in your Kitchen....your first Kitchen cooking pot becomes available at game level 1.....with the remaining cooking pots becoming staggeredly available between game levels 11 to 70.
"Once I got my camp cleared out events were easier"....I agree that is is definitely easier once you have got your all your camp equipment slots cleared out....but if you don't have the camp equipment to fill the camp slots then it's worthless to have empty camp slots sitting there.
I (like many other players) have stockpiled millions of food energy points in my backpack inventory/pantry....I very rarely even have to eat anything out of my stockpile.
The Professor Switch System is available at game level 27....so I'm not sure what you mean by "the effects for gems were not available yet...that came when I was already in Atlantis".
As the Professor Switch System would have been available for you to purchase way before you entered Atlantis.
As for the Energy Saver & Experience Booster I believe that they are available as soon as you start the game on level 1....I don't believe that there is a predetermined required game level to access these passive effects.
The repeatable mines to gather coins, lumber, stone, iron ore, coal, copper & tin become available very quickly when you first enter Egypt.....plus you would also be receiving these items/materials from the Events/Special Weeks you were doing.
Unfortunately I see food/energy items as a very temporary, instantaneous & immediate solution to only provide an extremely short term/lived effect.....I have learnt this lesson the very hard way....so now the only time I ever use Event Special Items on food items is if I have acquired all the Event Camp Equipment that I want first & foremost.
Diggys Adventure is a ongoing long term game that requires long term strategies & theories.
Before I found the Diggys Adventure Wikipedia pages & this forum I made lots of newbie mistakes....which ultimately did & still have hampered/impacted my game playing & progress....I've been slowly repairing & compensating for these earlier newbie mistakes.
Although I have spent some "real money" on this game....I have been frugal & haven't splurged a lot of "real money" (because I really don't have the spare money to spend unfortunately)....however there are a couple of times I wished that I didn't spend my "real money" on the things I did (again newbie mistakes).
I must admit that this corona virus lock down has definitely assisted in my game play, progress, camp equipment, achievements & items/food/materials/gems/coins/precious jewels stockpiling........especially due to having access to lots of fantastic Older Unsegmented Stories in the shop to buy for 100 gems πππ€π₯³π€©
But as I said earlier....everyone has their own game strategies, agendas & theories.....doesn't mean that one person's way is better than anyone else's.... it's just what works best for them personally.
