I have just recently purchased a new phone & so far (touch wood 🌳) I have not had any issues with the double rewards not working on Alice In Wonderland....but I still shut my game completely down & then restart before trying to claim an ad based rewards.....so timing is the key just before clearing a game scene/mine, just before completing a quest & just before claiming an Achievement.
I have always played through Android mobile app.
But seriously let's talk about the elephant in the room 🐘
It's about time that Pixel stopped hiding their heads in the sand & dealt with the ad based rewards issues.
If Pixel simply added a TRY AGAIN BUTTON to all ad based rewards it would instantaneously alleviate the plethora of a gazillion forum threads, social media posts, support tickets & constant player frustration/dissatisfaction.
Pixel constantly blame shifts & makes feeble excuses in relation to the ad based rewards issues by insisting that it's out of their control & it's a 3rd party problem.
This is an absolute load of poppy-cock....it is 💯% in Pixels control....all they have to do is simply add a TRY AGAIN BUTTON!!!! 🤬
Pixels continued lack of action in relation to the constant failure of ad based rewards issues is bad business ethics, counter intuitive, reduces revenue & increases players frustration/dissatisfaction.
I would assume that Pixel receives revenue from every successful ad played....I would further assume that if the ad fails then Pixel forfeits the revenue on each & every failure.
Maybe if the in-game ad based rewards worked correctly & efficiently there wouldn't be the need to drown this forum in ads....I only started playing Diggys Adventure in early 2020....the amount of ads that have been crammed into this forum is literally overwhelming & out of control....most of the time the bottom banners will not minimise they cover the edit & delete buttons at the bottom of the page....they cover the last row of the message box so you cannot see what you are typing which also covers the bottom row of icons on the message box....some how the message box gets locked into place on the page & you cannot move it up out of the way of the bottom ad banner....I have to select all & do a copy or cut then shut my message down & refresh the page to try to get the bottom banner to minimise or make the message box moveable again.....it's simply ridiculous.
Ads at the top, bottom, in the middle of threads & now a new full screen ad box pop up when you want to look at a notification or click into a thread...I use Chrome & I have my ad pop-up blocker activated but it doesn't seem to stop any of these ads....we are drowning in ads....come on Pixel how much revenue do you need to receive from ads????
This forum is becoming extremely non user friendly & non navigatable.
Address the issue, analyse the problem & implement the solution.....this is like a kindergarten 101 class when it comes to customer service/satisfaction, public relations, business consultancy, customer retention/growth & user friendliness....these were the first & foremost skills I learnt in my employment career.
I have mentioned this several times recently....I truly believe that there needs to be some votes/polls/surveys run simultaneously on this forum & all the social media pages to show a clear picture of what players want to be changed, updated, removed, remain & implemented....there are numerous subjects that I can personally think of that could/should be tabled as a vote/poll/survey......(unfortunately I don't have social media accounts...if I did I would do this myself).
I don't know how much power/clout that the administrators/moderators of this forum have....I don't know what the technical abilities of this forum are.....however what I think would be a great exercise & massive eye opener would be that if each & every forum thread that was in relation to ad based rewards issues was collected into one section under a new heading.....then take into account all the social media posts in relation to the same failures.....also don't forget all the support tickets sent directly to Pixel in relation to the same failures.
This is a simple case of "work smarter not harder".....I realise that the are now innumerable players that have simply given up either trying to claim ad based rewards &/or complain about ad based rewards....which unfortunately in turn gives Pixel the false belief/security that the ad rewards are working efficiently/effectively & that no further action is required by them to alleviate this constantly ongoing problem....seriously Pixel please get your heads out of the clouds ☁️
This equates to a lot of lost revenue for Pixel, increased customer frustration/dissatisfaction, potentially reduced customer retention/growth, innumerable hours of work & subsequent inefficiency/ineffectiveness.
I think players need to take a "united we stand & divided we fall" attitude/approach in relation to certain issues & suggestions.
There are innumerable forum threads in relation to these ad based rewards issues that administrators/moderators & players answer repeatably virtually every day.....no doubt it would be the same problematic issues for the social media pages & Pixel support.
If you want players to spend more "real money" on Diggys Adventure....fix the issues that need to be solved....give players an incentive to spend their hard earned cash....make the playing field equal & fair for all players....don't segregate & discriminate between players who use different mediums.....most importantly openly/publicly inform players of the different options/choices available so players can make informed decisions/purchases (I'm referring to Event/Special Weeks Packs)....don't make players feel like there is secret squirrel business going on 🐿️
The definition of insanity is repeating the same actions & expecting different results.....it's foolish to repeat inefficient & ineffective actions
