There is a few tricks that I incorporate to try to ensure that the double rewards work.
Just before clearing a game scene/mine (I leave 1-10 tiles uncleared)....or just before I finish a quest (this one can be a bit tricky unless you actually know what is going to trigger the end of the quest)....or just before I go to claim an Achievement......I shut down my game completely & restart it....not just swiping it into the background...properly fully closed down.
I also wait a few seconds before clicking the double rewards button after furiously clearing the last tiles or finishing the quest to let the game catch up & finish filing all the resources into the relevant areas...patience seems to be a virtue.
You can try other basic troubleshooting techniques such as:
Make sure you are using the most up-to-date versions of the game app, Facebook, Google Play, browser, phone, device, PC operating systems, etc. (depending on what you are playing).
You can also try uninstalling & reinstalling the game app, Facebook, Google Play, browser, etc. (but only do this if you have saved your game progress and player ID with either your email address or Facebook account).
Try clearing your cache, cookies, history, etc.
Another thing is to free up space on your phone/device/PC by deleting all unused & unnecessary apps, downloads, screenshots, files, songs, games, photos, videos, closing all browser tabs, etc.
Make sure when you are trying to load & run Diggys Adventure &/or trying to claim double rewards....that it is the ONLY thing running at the time....so it has 100% dedicated usage of your device & internet connection.
You can also try other things like:
- Log out & log in to the game app/browser/Facebook/portal/Google Play.
- Switch the phone/device/PC off & on again.
- Switch the internet connection/source off & on again.
- Try to use another internet source (WiFi or mobile data).
- Try to use a different browser.
- Try to use another phone/device/PC.
Another option is to try playing through the portal/Facebook/Google Play instead of the mobile game app or vice versa.
Do you have the ability to change your router firewall settings?
Are you running a firewall on your phone, device &/or PC?....could there be settings in there you could change?
Also are you running any virus, malware, adware, ransomware, pop-up blockers, cookie catchers, etc type of protection programs/apps on your phone, device &/or PC?.....could there be any settings in there you could change?
