Black Cat in the Road is a long term quest that will end when you finish the entire quest line of Bastet. You can ignore this quest. It will resolve itself when you reach the end of Bastet's locations. Last Bastet location: Fortified Mine.
If Black Cat in the Road is the only quest you have, you need to find how to get the main quest line (god locations) started again. What was the last location of a god that you worked on? (Not Father, not side quest.)
Quest givers are usually found in these locations:
- town of Luxor
- temple of the god you are working on
- more rarely in the mine you were working on
In Egypt, quests sometimes stop because a character has asked for a "gift" such as milk, mushrooms, lumber, tin, coal, etc. If that was the case you would see still see quest for it in your Quests panel.
