WInter Builder 3 gem equipment

SImple question. Is it really worth it? To get both is 2500 gems which for me (as a freemium player) seems steep. I am currently in Atlantis and will it hold its value into Greece?

James77 Depends on where you are. If you are at the end of Atlantis, don't buy it, if you are at the beginning, might consider. Being a premium, it will likely stay in your camp in greece but surely degrade in value. The cheapest event equipment in greece is 249 regen and 2490 storage per slot (ice clown values) and costliest is 266 regen and 2660 storage. So if you don't have many weaker equipments, you might as well end up replacing this premium one when you enter greece.
My personal opinion is to not buy it being a freemium player, I would rather spend the gems enjoying some stories. If you haven't maxed out the energy and experience boosters, can buy that.

The gem equipment in Greece costs 1500 each. The regen is 291 per slot, which I could use. But it's not worth 1500.

The capacity equipment might be worth 1 gem. 1500 gems for a 5800 double slot is 2900 per slot. My day camp's lowest item is 2950. Like I say, I might spend 1 gem for a backup piece. Are they picking tile values out of a hat? Throwing darts at a wall? Obviously not paying attention to actual in-game experience of REAL players.

It's not worth it this time, at least for me. Last year I spent 2 * 2000 gems on a 2 * 400 green item and a 2 * 4000 blue item, i was in greece then, halfway through new world now and they're still amongst my best stuff.
This time i can get 2 * 335 green or 2 * 3450 blue for 1750 gems each. So it's cheaper, but might become obsolete before i finish new World.

Actual event equipment is never worth the gems it costs except last years winter builder equipment. Especially capacity equipment is too low no matter if you have to pay with gems or event items. The only capacity equipment that for me felt worth to buy was from Excalibur event when i was in Scandinavia.

Thanks for all the opinions - I guess its still the same answer overall. The equipment isnt quite good enough for the cost. I looked on the wiki and it appears each region you are in its more expensive by 250 gems. That will get pricy very quickly
