Christmas 2020 Challenge no 6 Bookshop item to mark my answer has disappeared

I am in the Christmas 2020 Challenge Number 6–in the cottage Bookshop with Polar express train inside.
I started to place the movable MagnifyGlass icon that I am supposed to use to over one of three marks on floor and it has disappeared!
I have retraced the pathway in the cottage but it has simply vanished <poof>
I tried signing out of game and rebooting my iPad (Air 3 iOS 14.2) but that didn’t work. I am on game version 1.5.454

Did you check the number of books in your inventory? Miscellaneous tab.

Or just go on collecting the others and see if it works in the end.

I checked the number of books in my inventory and yes, I’d already gotten the book. The magnifying glass must have disappeared and I didn’t remember🤪. Thanks guys 😍
